The Raahauge Family Story
The Raahauge family has been in the Hunting business for 50 years. Linc Raahauge started the tradition by opening the first hunting
club ‘open to the public’ in Northern California. First, was a club at Cache Slough in Dixon, after five years he moved his Pheasant
Hunting Business to Suisun Marsh for an additional eight years.
While on a family vacation to Disneyland, Linc had been lost
on Highway 71 in Corona and spotted the Prado Basin. Through research he found there were more hunters in Southern California looking
for a place to hunt than in Northern California. Linc packed up the family, moved to Corona and started yet another Hunting Club.
The club remains open today and is run by Linc’s son Mike.
In the early 80’s Linc opened a club in Suisun on Grizzly Island in Northern California. While Linc remained in Southern California
his son Kimmy and daughter Trudy ran that successful club until the Dept. of Fish and Game closed it down by Eminent Domain and used
the property for something else.
For the Northern California hunters; Linc’s son Terry opened a successful hunting and shooting
club in Dunnigan. They’ve been in operation since 2004.
Yet another of Linc’s sons; Chris has stayed in line with this family
of entrepreneurs and hunters. A long time resident of Norco and Corona California he recognized the interest for clothing representative
of the love of hunting and all that goes with it.
He has launched a clothing line for all hunters and fans of the Raahauge’s
shotgun sports legacy online. “We’ve always known the Raahauge name is a favorite in shotgun sports around the country. We are always
getting calls for clothing and until today, have turned fans of Raahauge’s away for that request”, said Chris Raahauge.
When outdoorsmen talk about hunting and shooting the Raahauge name is the standard. Raahauge’s Clothing Line captures the spirit of
the sport and incorporates them into their apparel for all to see.
Our clothing line has just begun and we intend to add more
items like jackets, hunter’s clothing, hats and more. KCR Enterprises which is owned by Chris and Karen Raahauge does all their own
